Approximately eight experienced trials riders will be coaching groups throughout the two days providing expert advice. All coaches are ACU trained and registered. All entrants must provide their own bike to ride. Bikes ridden by people aged 17 and under must have a lanyard operated kill button and foldable foot-stand. Please ensure bikes comply with TSR1 and TSR8 and clothing complies with TSR12 of the Trials Standing Regulations posted on the ACU website. All bikes and clothing will be checked before a rider may start the training.

South West Trials School 2025
Firstly, many thanks to the whole Chugg Family and all the staff at Keypitts Off Road Adventures, Ilfracombe for once again welcoming us to their fantastic venue and for the enormous amount of work the team puts in to making Trials School happen. Amazing!
Once again, we had a great entry with people travelling from as far away as Hampshire and Herefordshire. It was lovely to see lots of familiar faces including the ‘Dorset Crew’ who have supported the event for many years.
Our trainers help us for the love of the sport. We are indebted to them for their generosity and so lucky to have riders of such a high calibre to help us. Unfortunately, Victoria (with James) could not help us this year due to breaking some of her toes at a recent competition. We wish Victoria a speedy recovery and thank Dean for stepping up at such notice.

Along with our trainers their assistants work tirelessly to keep you safe. Great work chaps!

Our STAR RIDERS this year are:
Matthew. Sorry no picture of Matthew as he could not stay for the Saturday afternoon presentation due to a long drive home. Thanks, Matthew, to you and your brother Mark for supporting the event again this year.

What people are saying about Trials School:
“The boys had a great time. Thanks to you and the South West Trials School team for all the hard work that goes into making it happen.”
“Zak loved the trials school and is already talking about next years.
”
“We both loved the school it was very well organised and run, great venue, great food, brilliant instructors, lovely bunch of people, can't wait for next year's we will be doing the full weekend.”
“We all had a great time (again), and my son really enjoyed his first trials school. The trainers we had (Jazz, Steve, Dean and Joe) were all brilliant, but I must say, and I’m sure all of us would agree, Steve needs special recognition. He’s a great trainer and brilliant with the kids. Thanks again, see you next year.”
As many of you know Mr Trials School - Dave Price was unable to attend last year due to ill health but Dave was back leading the whole event this year and seriously thinking about training again in 2026! Huge thanks must also go to our MC Nigel Andrew who also spends many hours each year making sure our ancient equipment is maintained and works.
Finally, to everyone who stayed behind on Saturday afternoon to dismantle the marquee and help clear away…. Wow, you were fabulous!

Lunch-time outside the marquee.
